Sunday Night Coed Ruck – The Devil’s Mile

The Thang

With some of the F3GR PAX signing up for the 022 Pathfinder training program, YHC thought it would be a good idea to get a ruck based workout in. 

We started with a 1 Mile Pre-Ruck

Once we got to the football field in East Grand Rapids the plan was to do the Devil’s Mile. 

1/4 mile Bear Crawl (440 Yards)

1/4 mile Crab Walk (440 Yards)

1/4 mile Lunges (440 Yards)

1/4 mile overhead carry (no forward movement unless ruck is overhead) (440 Yards)

We ended up modifying a bit and were going to do 100 yards of each exercise, then repeat that cycle 4 times for the total distance. We ended up getting through 2 sets before 45 minutes ended, so we cut it short. The plan is to complete the Devil’s Mile at the end of the PathFinder Challenge to see how much we progressed. 

We ended with a 4.65 Mile Post Ruck
