YHC is honored to rock his 1-year anniversary Q tomorrow at The Zoo! In college after a night out drinking, we used to say, “If you play those kinda games, you win those kinds of prizes.” Prizes tomorrow for every HC. So, who’s ready to play some games?! Bring a coupon. Just in case. SYITG

PAX: 10
Bald Eagle, Bullwinkle, Kraut, Less, Radio, Roid Rage, Snoop, Soft Spot, Stalin and BasicBro (Q)

5 Core Principles: Free of charge | Open to all men | Held outdoors, rain or shine, hot or cold | Led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion with no training or certification necessary | End w/ a Circle of Trust

Disclaimer: This is a free, volunteer, peer-led workout. I am not a professional. I have no knowledge of any injuries or fitness considerations. It is each person’s responsibility to be safe and modify exercises if you need to. The most important thing is that you don’t get hurt, and that you finish. Remember, the workout should be you vs you.

THE THANG

  1. Pax picked their own two-man teams, who became each other’s opponents.

  2. Each team started at a game station (ladder golf or washers). The extra team lunged while the participating teams “played” (i.e. exercised).

  3. The first team member threw/played their game. For each point they scored in each respective game, those points translated into exercises that their opposing team member had to complete. While that second team member did those exercises, the first team member curled their coupon AYG until their partner completed said exercises. Rinse and repeat for the second team member on that game, then they rotated down to the next game station.

  4. Note: The catch—if either team member did not score any points - both team members had to do 10 penalty burpees.

  5. If there was any delay in being able to rotate to the next game station, team members had to lunge around the perimeter of the games area until their station opened up, creating a constant flow of games always in action and at least one team lunging.

  6. Point structure:

    1. Ladder golf: Top row = 30 SSH | Middle row = 20 Mountain Climbers | Bottom Row = 10 Merkins
Divide PAX into two groups | Group 1 runs around Founders (the entire block) | While Group 2 does SSH until everyone from Group 1 returns | Plank while waiting for the 6

    2. Washers: Bullseye = 30 High Knees | In the box = 20 Squats

  7. Each team played two rounds of each game, playing eight games total.

  3. Mosey lap around The Zoo’s park
