Bring a coupon, pack some gloves, and be ready to take on some of old man winter’s last challenges. Plan A might become Plan B which might change to Plan C. But we will crawl on all fours if needed to complete our 5:30 am Thursday beat down. HC below.

Warm-O-Rama: After a Mosey around the lot, PAX lined up for a mix of stationary and moving warm-up exercises.

SSH followed by walking lunge, plank jacks followed by high knees, merkins followed by butt kickers, air squats followed by side shuffles, and arm circles to end the warm-up.

The Thang (1): PAX partnered up for a DORA with 100 merkins, 200 jump squats, 300 LBCs. The partner not doing the exercises did a coupon carry from the exercise zone down to the Ideal Park sign and back, then they switched. Continued pattern until all exercises were complete. Crosswalk got extra points for having a stump he found as his coupon for the day. This also prevented the group from having to execute the Q’s original plan which was to have the one partner farmers carry both his and his partner’s coupon to the sign and back.

The Thang (2): PAX circled up for a series of in cadence stationary coupon lifts, each followed by a bear crawl scramble up and over the bridge in the park. Once on the other side, they jogged back to the starting point and together started another coupon lift. Lifts were:

5 blockees -> bridge bear crawl, 10 coupon curl to press -> bridge bear crawl, 14 lunge and twist with coupon -> bridge bear crawl, 20 alternating coupon merkins -> bridge bear crawl, 24 shoulder-to-shoulder coupon press -> bridge bear crawl, 30 coupon bent over rows – bridge bear crawl (I might have missed or mixed up some here, but you get the idea).
