Warm up exercises
Mosey Lap around Parking Lot – aka buying time for Soft Spot to arrive so we could leave the AO.
We ran the .8 mile loop through the Griffiths park trail, stopping 5 times to perform squats in the following rep count sequence: 5-10-15-10-5. We ended back at the bottom of the Manhattan Rd hill, just south of the entrance to the park. YHC had dropped cones when we left at the top, middle, and bottom of the hill.
The workout consisted of doing a single exercise at the bottom of the hill 5 times, running to the middle cone (10 reps), running to the top of the hill (15 reps), running back to the middle cone (10 reps), then running back to the bottom and finishing with 5 reps. 5–>10–>15–>10–>5. After that sequence completed the PAX got a 20 second break while performing overhead claps.
We made it through the following exercises:
BBS with your feet on the incline working against the hill
Leg Levers with your feet on the decline working against the hill.
We had 8 minutes left after the last sequence so we picked up the cones while performing Mary:
Run to middle cone: 5 reps of something I forgot
Run to the bottom: 10 reps of something I forgot
Run to the top: 15 LBCs
Run to the bottom:10 Starfish Crunches
Run to the AO: 5 Slow Merkins
