Backblast #931 The Bunker 5k

YHC woke up to some hard rain and lightning.  As I was looking at the radar seeing lightning through the windows, notifications started to roll in… OUT

YHC quickly posted checking the radar when another PAX called OUT.  Sadly I was changing the beatdown to canceled with all the lightning when Snoop posted about near by parking ramps.  Its back on!

AO changed to the Calder plaza and we went into the Underground parking garage. The Bunker 5k was born.

The Thang

The PAX headed into the stair well and dropped 3 levels. We ran the perimeter and looped back to the first ramp. 5 jump  squats OYO. PAX climbed the ramp and circled for 25 4ct Flutter Kicks.  We then proceeded another perimeter run.

As PAX reached the ramp we performed  10 jump squats and at the top of the ramp another 25 4ct Flutter Kicks.  We were warm from the humid temperature in the fresh breeze from outside was tempting. PAX ventured out for a exterior perimeter run to get refreshed from the cool air before we took the stairs back down.  We repeated the plan increasing jump squats at the ramps, 15,20 and maintaining the 25 4ct Flutter kicks.

After another round in the bunker, fresh air was welcoming as we took to the outside.  We crossed the street and yo the stairs all the way 7 levels, before we ran the parking ramp down to the side wall.  30sec AL Gore YHC also needed to quickly tie his shoes.  The PAX preceded down the street for one last loop.  As we ran your YHC found a section of stairs behind a building for some stair tracers. After working the street h down and back we held a wall sit for 30sec.

At this time it was nearing the end. We headed back to the AO.
