Blackblast #76 - Pretty Lights

Join me at the "OG" Calder for a "5k Wednesday" Beatdown. We will run, and we will have fun.

Series of Stretches

Our 3.50 mile route averaged 9:27 pace, even with a few brief stops. We began with running down Michigan St through Ah-Nab-Awen Park (seeing some giant lit gnomes and Starry Night), running over the Gillett Bridge which connects with Lyon - running up Lyon to Division. Turned right from Division onto Monroe Center, which joins up with Pearl - crossing the Pearl Street Bridge, looping around the Carousel and "SInging with the Tree" like it was our long lost father (Buddy the "Elf" Style"). We then ran across the Blue Bridge, took Monroe to Weston, to Ottawa (West of the Van Andel) and made a pit stop at the "Fulton & Ottawa Parking Ramp". Ran up all the flights up stairs on one side, ran all the way down the other side- while being mesmerized on the "synchronous lights". Took Ottawa to Monroe Center to Division to Fountain to Ottawa - back to the AO.
